My goal is to raise funds for LLS in the name of pediatric cancer patients. Leukemia is the most commonly diagnosed form of cancer in children and young adults. Current therapies are designed for adults, not children, and are proving to be toxic with long-term side effects on pediatric patients. LLS is working to find better, safer treatments for these young cancer patients that will not only fight the disease, but which will also avoid permanent damage to the health of these innocent lives. The funds that we raise will go to aiding this research and development to improve the outcome for children impacted by leukemia. As a part of our fundraising efforts, we are raffling off a collection of incredible items and experiences. Each raffle ticket is $X (with books of X raffle tickets available for $X). The raffle will be open Monday, May 13 - Sunday, May 19 at 5 PM EST. Tickets can be purchased and cast for items online or in person at Sceptre Brewing in Decatur. (Note: The raffle at Sceptre will only be available Friday, 5/17 - Sunday, 5/18). The winners will be selected at random and notified by Monday, May 20.
