We would like to think our sponsors who have made it possible to provide free concerts the first Saturday of each month. However, a donation will help us reach our goal of restoring Moore Street School. The Moore Street School Foundation is please to present Michael Hawkins and the Brotherhood featuring James "Saxmo" Gates, W. Weldon Hill and Billy Williams, Jr.  The collaboration of these musicians has caused them to be sought after performers collectively as well as individually.  The Moore Street School Foundation would like to thank them for their support by providing a glimpse of the type of programming that will be a mainstay in Moore Street School.   Thanks to you whether you consider yourself as part of Moore Street School's growing audience, supporter, and/or donor.  We appreciate you.

The music series features mini concerts by local artists, showcasing a variety of styles of jazz music.  All proceeds will go towards the restoration of the Moore Street School, which was built in 1887 and is a registered historic landmark. The first phase of the restoration project, which is stabilization and will be followed by a full-scale restoration in order to prepare the building for programming.   Suggested donations can be made via this site or the QR codes on our Instagram, Facebook or Meetup social media pages.  We hope you will join us for these wonderful musical experiences and show your support for the Moore Street School restoration efforts.  Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
