Giddy Up to Santa Barbara County Riding Club's new Hobby Horse Division!

There will be 3 classes in the division:

-Flat Class

-Equitation Over Fences

-Chase-Me-Charlie (highest jump cleared)

Placing will be based on cumulative points across all three classes

No Hobby Horse? No Problem! Local children's' store, Chicken Little, will be providing hobby horses available to "lease."

Liability Release Form - Hobby Horse Series In consideration of being permitted to participate in the SBCRC Hobby Horse Division at Earl Warren Showgrounds (the “Event”), I, the undersigned, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby:  1. Acknowledge that my participation in the Event may include activities that may be hazardous to me. 2. Assume any risk of injury or harm associated with such participation in the Event.  3. Release and forever discharge Santa Barbara Riding Club and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively “Releasees”) of and from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions and causes of action (collectively the “Claims”) in respect of injury, loss, death or damage to myself or property howsoever caused, arising or to arise by reason of or during my participation in the Event, whether prior to, during or subsequent to my attendance and notwithstanding that any Claim may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of any of the Releasees.  4. Indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of or in any way connected to my participation in the Event. 5. Agree to accept financial responsibility for the costs related to any emergency treatment that may arise related to my participation in the Event.  I have read this release before signing below and I fully understand the contents, meaning, and impact of this release. If the person signing is under age 18, there must be consent by a parent or guardian, as follows:  I hereby certify that I am the parent or guardian of the minor named below, do hereby give my consent without reservation to the foregoing on behalf of this person, and I accept and agree that I am also bound to all terms and conditions.
