About Us

The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club is a non-profit organization composed of local women who volunteer freely to help others not as fortunate in the community. We have been, and continue to be, a committed source of hope in the form of emotional and financial support throughout Downers Grove and surrounding areas.  Our community projects include financial contributions to in-need organizations, annual recognition of educators and students, and community service volunteer efforts.  However, we can not achieve our mission alone and invite you to join us this upcoming year to continue our efforts.

Last year, generous contributions from our community partners helped the Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club donate $80,000+ to support over 36 charities impacting local children, high school students, senior citizens, the abused, the homeless, victims of tragedy and families in need.  Beyond financial contributions, we supported the community through various volunteer efforts such as providing Thanksgiving Day meals to local families, distributing presents for children in-need during the holiday season, building and planting vegetable gardens, packing and distributing meals, and so much more.

We know “it takes a village” and through various partnership levels and in-kind donations, our goal is to THANK YOU by recognizing your giving spirit  and commitment to the community with our audience.
