Tapetail at Automata presents; Squash and Biscuit
Slow Cooking 慢炖
Squash & Biscuit 瓜和饼干
Life is the act of waiting—waiting to meet someone, hear about an application, for a new product, fresh content, or simply the sunrise on a cool morning. In their debut evening length work, Squash & Biscuit’s Slow Cooking 慢炖 uses this shared experience as a vessel for new ideas and exploration. Waiting gives you time; time gives you the opportunity to become the strange creature you truly are.
Presented in three short sections, Slow Cooking 慢炖 is a quadraphonic sound performance that uses acoustic instruments, manipulated samples, voice, video, and movement.
