On this day, people around the globe join forces to raise awareness for Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG), making it the perfect occasion for this charitable event. In solidarity with the cause, the event's theme will feature the colors green and white, symbolizing hope and purity—values that resonate deeply with our mission to support those affected by PMM2-CDG.

PMM2-CDG is one of the many types of CDG, a group of rare inherited conditions caused by defects in glycosylation, a critical process in the body. PMM2-CDG, in particular, affects multiple systems, leading to a range of symptoms including developmental delays, coordination problems, and organ dysfunction. Due to its rarity, research and support for this disorder are significantly underfunded, leaving affected families with limited resources and options. This charity event is a vital step toward changing that narrative.

This will be an annual event, with each year's tournament building on the success of the last.
