Overview:
In this workshop we will explore various career options for associate therapists entering the field after grad school. The workshop is offered by NISD Counseling, CAMFT CEU provider, and fulfills the BBS requirements for completing a 3-hour Law & Ethics course for annual associate registration renewal.
“Effective January 1, 2023, California law requires all registered Associates to complete 3 hours of continuing education (CE) in Law and Ethics annually, prior to each renewal. “ BBS 10/22
Learning Objectives:
Name at least 3 types of exempt and non-exempt sites to complete associate hours.
Develop 2-3 personal criteria for establishing a successful supervisory relationship.
Discuss important considerations for completing hours in a timely manner including 90 day rule and 6-year rule.
Apply Narrative Ethics when responding to crisis situations and mandated reporting
