The conference, SHE Heals: Addressing the Crisis of Health Inequities and Disparities Among Black Women was birthed from the Black women’s health series and seeks to be an ongoing effort to address and respond to the urgent health disparities plaguing Black women here in Mississippi. From having one of the nation’s most restricted bans on undesired pregnancies to maternal mortality, Black women bear the burden of these health disparities. To solve these issues, we will have to respond as a community.  Join us as we tackle the disparity of health for Black women as a community.
