About Battle Brothers Foundation
Founded in 2017 by Purple Heart Veteran, Bryan Buckley, Battle Brothers Foundation (https://battlebrothersfoundation.org/) is dedicated to serving our veterans personally, economically, and medically. In addition to our three-pillar approach, Battle Brothers is striving to defeat the opioid and suicide epidemic that is plaguing our veteran community by providing education and access to alternative medications such as cannabis (which is currently inaccessible through the VA). About The Veterans Hero Ball
Join us for a night at the University Club Atop Symphony Towers to not only celebrate and honor our armed forces at our inaugural Veterans Hero Ball, but also to raise critical funds for veterans' research made possible by Battle Brothers Foundation. Battle Brothers has been campaigning on Capitol Hill & among legislators for years and was granted approval for an International Review Board (IRB) study to conduct human research on the efficacy of cannabis to treat PTSD & chronic pain within the veteran community.
But in order to move forward, Battle Brothers needs to raise enough funds to conduct these studies (roughly $500K). So the Veterans Hero Ball will be an opportunity to fundraise as well as provide education to the community on our efforts. If we do not raise enough funds for our pre-approved IRB study, there is a chance our approval will be reneged.
With all of that said, the night will be one to remember and will be filled with entertainment including brand activations, live music, delectable bites, and delicious drinks as well as a carefully curated program of special guests to share more details on the organization with the San Diego Community.
