Welcome to RBC second Chess Tournament. All ages are welcome with a rating of 2000 or less! Maximum tournament capacity is 60 participants. After that the registration and tickets sales will be closed. Therefore we strongly encourage you to register online as soon as possible. Registration fee is 30$. You must come at 4:30pm and enter your name into the tournament bracket! Only registered players will be allowed to play!   We are conducting a Swiss-system tournament that features a fixed number of rounds of competition. Competitors meet one-on-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar running score but does not play the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. The 4 players with the highest score will play for 1, 2, and 3 place. If you like to play Chess and win a prize, please register with RBC Chess Tournament! Please carefully read the tournament rules:1.    Please keep quiet and do not leave your chair during the game!2.    If you touch a piece on the chessboard, you must move it. If you touch one of the opponent’s pieces, you must capture it.3.    To straighten up the pieces on their squares without being required to move them, a player should first say, I adjust. If a player touches a piece that cannot legally move, there is no penalty.4.    If you and an opponent have a disagreement, stop the clocks, find a director, and ask them to make a ruling.5.    Each player will have 15 minutes. So that the game will be played in 30 minutes.6.    The winner advances to play with another winner, the one who lost will play with another competitor who lost!7.    Time is kept by using a chess clock.8.    You cannot use your cellphone except for the chess app Clock!
