Our young gardeners will learn about the magic of microgreen growing and will plant their own microgreen seeds in a microgreen starter kit they can take home. After a tasting session of some grown microgreens, children will choose their preferred seed to plant (choice of 4) as well as their seed tray color (choice of 6). Each participant will receive a complete starter kit, equipped with everything they need for a successful planting experience, including a spray bottle for watering, a how-to card, and a refill for a second planting adventure at home. To conclude our workshop, for those who wish to linger, a captivating original story related to the fascinating world of microgreens will be shared, adding an extra layer of enchantment to this memorable experience. The Art of Surfing will be a presentation on the basic fundamental principles in learning how to stand up and ride a wave on a surfboard. Focusing on Surfboard Anatomy, board positioning, and WSMS Camp's 6 Steps to Surfing Success this presentation will give the viewers a deeper understanding of how to surf! After hearing the presentation, viewers will have the opportunity to try "popping up" on a surfboard and balance board while an instructor helps improve their technique.
