Let us know if you want to be in the production! (It's highly advised that you attend the workshop on August 19, sometime during 1-5 pm at the theatre.) The SHREK JR program will run from Aug 26 through Nov 5 as follows: Sat Aug 26 1pm - 4pm: first meeting for parents and kids (required). We will discuss the production, find out what kids are interested in which aspects of the show, and give the kids some music and some lines from the script to look at and prepare for audition night. Mon Aug 28 (5-7pm): Audition night. Kids will sing and read for roles they are interested in and select what backstage area(s) they would like to learn about as well. Tue Aug 29 (5-7pm): Cast and backstage roles announcement, then rehearsal begins Aug 29 – Nov 2: Cast meetings Mon- Wed from 5-7pm and Sat morning/early afternoon (time TBA) Nov 3-5 – Performances (times TBA)
