Hello, TI family & friends of Bri!
Thank you for visiting the Dance It Out 2022! ticket page for the upcoming Briana McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser. As most of you know, Bri was an alumn, long-time volunteer staff member and President of the Board of Directors for the NH Teen Institute who unexpectedly passed away in May of 2019. We have wanted to have this event since that time, but, you know, the world happened. We are excited to finally be able to celebrate, remember, and memorialize in person, and want you to join us!
Here are the details:
The event will take place on Saturday, July 30th from 7pm-10pm at the Slusser Senior Center in Hopkinton, NH. Funds raised will provide scholarships for folks wanting to attend the Summer Leadership Program.
Tickets can be purchased here and are $50 for adults, $25 for students, and $10 for those under 18 years old, who must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be dancing, board games, raffles, snacks, smiles, tears, merch, and above all community.
We, the friends and family of Bri, feel confident that a fund-raising event of this nature is in line with Bri's wishes. She may have hated capitalism, but she loved the Summer Program and increasing access to those wishing to attend. In that vein, we want to make it very clear that no one should not attend this event due to the price. We set a lofty goal for ticket prices to honor her work in capacity-building as part of the board, but do not want anyone to be priced out of this night of togetherness. There is a section on the ticket page to put your own amount, if any, and we invite you to use this option if the ticket price is too high. We have a ticket limit so please make sure to sign up for a ticket!
If you are unable to attend but still want to donate there is a space for that too!
Bri was such a huge part of the TI community, and this is just one way that we are carrying on her spirit and memory so she remains that way. I've attached a flyer with all the information above, and please feel free to reach out with any questions. This event is open to all, and I hope to see you and your loved ones on the dance floor as we feel our feelings and let our love fill any empty spaces.
Warmest fuzzies to you!
