Popeye's Pick: Blood In, Blood Out Book Raffle

We’re thrilled to offer a special raffle featuring one exclusive, sold-out first-edition Blood In, Blood Out book, signed by Jesse Borrego and Carlos Carrasco from the iconic film. This limited-edition book, valued at $1,000, was published in spring 2024 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the film. It includes original poems by Jimmy Santiago Baca, photography by Merrick Morton, and a unique design by Stephen Serrato. This is your chance to own a piece of cinematic and literary history.

This raffle is part of Los Artículos: Dejar Huella Juntos, a three-day celebration of Latinx creativity and culture, taking place from September 12-14, 2024, at Motion Media Arts Center in East Austin. Proceeds from this raffle will benefit Austin Arts Foundation 501(c)(3), supporting our mission to promote diversity, inclusion, and equity within the arts.
