We are thrilled to announce the inaugural "Bakersfield Masters" Pickleball tournament, set to take place on June 1, 2024, at the esteemed Bakersfield Racquet Club. As Pickleball continues to soar in popularity, this event promises to be a captivating showcase of skill, sportsmanship, and community spirit.

The tournament holds deeper significance as it serves as a fundraising platform for Health through Wholeness, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and adults with disabilities in our community. The mission of Health through Wholeness goes beyond physical wellness; it encompasses mental and spiritual well-being. By sponsoring this event, you have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of these individuals.

The format is as follows; this is a 3-player team.  Each team is required to have at least 1 woman on the team.  Example: You can have two men and one woman, or you can have one man and two women, or 3 women all together.  Scoring is as follows, it's up to the team discretion who will play first once play has started, once a team gets too five points both teams will switch players at its team discretion.  Once a team get to ten points both teams will switch again the player that has not rotated out yet.  You will go to 15 points and win by one. 


We are also our excited to announce the active first responders' division to be played on May 31, 2024, at Bakersfield Raquet Club.  Warm up time is 3pm and start will be at 4pm.  The format will be doubles men's, women's, or mixed.  We will have a combined skill level of 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5, 4.0.  This division will be free for any first responder the only requirement is too be registered.  Please have ID card of your department to ensure that you're an active responder to be shown at registration.

Thank you for helping health through wellness a nonprofit to help veterans and adults with disabilities. Set up will ONLY allowed on May 31, 2024, from 12pm to 7pm before the day of the event. Extra security will be provided to ensure product and property. You will be provided an 8x8 spot for your product. Tables and canopies will not be provided.
First Responders Division 2.5 & 3.0
Free
This division is free for active first responders. We only ask that you register so we know how to bracket you and your partner. This division will be played as men's, women's, and mixed doubles together. Your partner doesn't have to be in the same department. Feel free to give a donation as all proceeds go back to the new Adaptisport wellness clinic to help veterans and adults with disabilities. Please have badge, or ID, something showing you're an active first responder. This tournament will be played on May 31, 2024 and warm up time is 3pm and start play is at 4pm. Beginners Clinic - First Responders

May 19, 2024 at Bakersfield Raquet Club 1660 Pine St. Bakersfield, Ca. There will be two classes, the first class start at 8:30am to 9:45am. Second class will start at 10:00am to 11:15am. This class in only for active first responders, on sign up please put what department you work for and what class you will be attending. Thank you!
