Geared towards experienced clinicians new to DBT, this session will introduce the central principles of this therapeutic approach, discuss the key elements in DBT case formulation, and provide an outline of primary DBT skills. Participants will gain insights into the applicability of DBT within various clinical scenarios, fostering a basic understanding.  Karl Bolton (they/she) is a skilled LADAC II and DBT clinician from our community. Karl's expertise and experience is centered around helping those with substance use disorder, family of origin issues, codependency, and life stage issues. Karl is also a prominent voice in our community for LGBTQIA+ clinical competency.
