Soul Shop™ for Leadersis an interactive, one-day workshop designed to equip clergy, staff, lay pastors, clinicians, and other leaders of faith with how to minister to those impacted by suicide and suicidal desperation. This includes a creation of worship resource, training in suicide awareness and basic conversation skills, and how to extend the invitation to those who have been suicidal in the past to share their stories, and how to cultivate soul-safe cultures within congregations/organizations.
You will also learn:
- How to prevent suicide in your community
- The signs of suicide risk and warning signs
- How to ask a person at risk if they might be thinking about suicide
- How to be a companion to those experiencing suicide loss
- About local and national resources available for suicide prevention
- What the Bible has to say about suicide
- How to integrate suicide prevention into the life and ministry of your church/organization
Come equip yourself and your teams to be a significant source of hope and healing in the midst of this public health crisis.

Soul Shop™ for Communitiesis a 90-minute Community Awareness Skills Training designed to create a network of support for those who are impacted by suicide . Appropriate for teens and above, this community-oriented program explores how we think and talk about suicide, and discusses steps that can be taken to reduce risks. Includes an introduction to the CALL model for keeping a person with thoughts of suicide safe.
Great for parents, police, nurses, teachers, advocates, and any other concerned citizens who might want to learn how to ask the question of suicide, learn about the prevalence of suicide in the community, and get more engaged with how to be a part of the solution.
