He is a national leader of the Gun Safety Consortium, bringing together faith leaders, gun designers, and law enforcement agencies to find common cause in reducing gun violence.Prior to joining Shaaray Tefila, Rabbi Mosbacher served as rabbi of Beth Haverim Shir Shalom in Mahwah, New Jersey for 15 years. (Rabbi Kirzane had the privilege of serving as the assistant rabbi of this congregation with Rabbi Mosbacher for one year following his ordination.)Rabbi Mosbacher grew up at Temple B'nai Yehuda, one of Shir Tikvah’s parent communities.
