A Little Art With Sherlock Holmes &ndash; As a class we&#39;ll construct three different interactive cards, each involving a unique kind of moving component that reveals a hidden message or compartment. We&#39;ll then have the opportunity to decorate and embellish our pieces within a Victorian London theme. Once our pieces are made, we&#39;ll transform them into game pieces for a mini Sherlock Holmes mystery that can be set up in your own home for family and friends to solve. The concealment elements that we learn will hide the clues used as part of the mystery activity. (All of the clues and mystery pieces will be provided during class and added to the cards we make.) &nbsp;Each guest will take home all of the game pieces needed to set up their own home mini mystery!However, the mystery doesn&#39;t end there... As inspiration, we&#39;ll be solving our own mystery during the class as we create and build our pieces. You see, Mrs. Finchly is convinced that her husband&#39;s passing wasn&#39;t an accident, despite what the local police say. However, she doesn&#39;t have any real proof. We&#39;ll each have a chance to gather the clues during the class to solve her case. The one who solves it first wins! Consider it a mystery within a mystery! &nbsp;Whatever remaining time we have at the end can be spent recreating the interactive card pieces for learning reinforcement until the techniques feel quite ELEMENTARY!. THE GAME IS AFOOT!
