When the news cycles move on and they are left behind, who remembers them? Small Town Mountain Strong is a feature documentary currently in production exploring long-term recovery in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene devastated the mountains. Even now, one year later, families are still without homes, businesses are still struggling to reopen and communities face ongoing challenges. Yet no one is talking about the help these small town still need.
