Curious about natural dyes? Join us in making some truly vibrant and beautiful natural dyes using madder (red), onion skins (yellow), and indigo (blue). We will be exploring overdye techniques- where you layer dyes to create even more colors! In this 4-hour class, we will go over preparing fabrics for dye, making dye vats, binding fibers to create patterns, and of course, dyeing fibers. Please get in touch if you have any questions before signing up:&nbsp;community@polumbolum.org A few notes about our space and what to expect at the workshop: +This is an outdoor class, held at Peaceful Belly Farm&#39;s beautiful outdoor classroom.&nbsp;+We will provide cotton napkin blanks for you to experiment with, but you are also welcome to bring your own fabrics, yarns, or clothes to dye. Just make sure they are 100% natural fibers!+We will be working with hot liquids! Come in closed-toed shoes.+We will be in the shade, but it may be quite hot. Bring sun protection and water.
