Gather around the campfire with RHA for an evening of s'mores, storytelling with Maria LoBiondo, and stargazing (through a big telescope!) with Kevin Schindler from the RVCC Planetarium! This event is great for families, teens, and adults! Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants may bring a flashlight but we will kindly request that all flashlights be turned OFF in the stargazing area for optimal sky viewing! This event is part of our collaboration with Friluftsliving Family and Gnome Matter the Weather. We hope this series of events will help inspire you to get outside with your loved ones, even through the cold, dark (and beautiful!) days of winter! Accessibility: This program will be held on grass in front of a campfire, and the telescope will be a short, level walk away, in a dark space behind the barns. There will be chairs and benches available, and we can arrange for close parking for those that need it. Please reach out to Lauren at ltheis@raritanheadwaters.org for any questions or to chat about how we can make this program more accessible to you!
