Join us for an all-levels yoga class! Friday, April 24th from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm, yoga instructor Kristi Gunnarshaug is kindly offering her time and skills as a volunteer to facilitate a donation-based Creative Slow Flow Yoga class. The class will benefit the grassroots organization Danbury Unites for Immigrants (DUFI), a collective of local immigrant community leaders and allies who are committed to working together to build the power of and to protect Danbury&rsquo;s immigrant community.&nbsp; Creative Slow Flow Yoga is a low Intensity, slow-paced style of yoga for all levels and ages, with an emphasis on gentle stretching, to strengthen the body&rsquo;s connective tissues, while providing a deep relaxation and stillness that is calming to the nervous system.&nbsp; Kristi Gunnarshaug is a licensed yoga instructor and has taught for over 20 years. She believes we are the true facilitators of our own healing and is thankful to facilitate and bear witness to that process with her students. She received her RYT500 at Lotus Gardens in Connecticut.&nbsp; + Please bring your own yoga mat, blocks, and a towel for knee support.+ No yoga experience needed!+ Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Please arrive early to check in.
