The festival will be at its new venue for this special celebration, The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park. The festival will have onstage entertainment featuring performances from local and international artists such as Yeni Turku, a globally renowned Turkish band, and Tuana, a dance troupe that has performed in 45 countries. In addition, the festival will host a wide variety of arts and crafts, a market with local vendors, Turkish food, beer and wine, Turkish coffee, and a dedicated children’s area. The World Pavilion will showcase booths from other cultural organizations in the Houston area.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to earthquake relief efforts in Turkey.
