Come learn about the Manship Family of artists and how they came to live and work on Cape Ann. Join us for a special, behind the scenes tour of their summer residence and studios. Sunday, July 301 - 2:30 pm You'll get to explore the house and take in the magnificence of the barn studio, as well as the spectacular view of the Manship Quarry (aka Butman's and Taylor's Pit) from the heart of Manship's Starfield estate on the historic pergola terrace. We'll also introduce you to significant landscape features such as the east lawn gazebo, which was recently recreated based on historical documents in the Manship Archives. If the weather is nice, we invite you to come at noon and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside on the property before the tour.
