The Women of Beta Alpha Zeta Zeta, the Pioneer Valley Coalition for Suicide Prevention, along with Families Against Violence, are collaborating to create an impactful conversation that promotes Mental Health Awareness and addresses the unique challenges our community faces, including the increased violence and what we can do to combat its impact on the community. This event is an opportunity to come together and engage in meaningful dialogue.
Furthermore, we are proud to announce that The Bishop Neal Boyd Community Scholarship will be awarded to Families Against Violence at the event. Bishop Neal Boyd was an esteemed figure in our community, known for his unwavering commitment to promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention. In tribute to his legacy, the Pioneer Valley Coalition for Suicide Prevention established this scholarship to further his mission.
We encourage you to bring information on services your program may be offering in the community. The event will commence with a short panel discussion followed by an old-fashioned conversation over lunch, during which we will have the opportunity to exchange information and ideas.
Please join us for this vital conversation as we strive to raise awareness and foster resilience in our community. Your presence and insights are invaluable as we work together to combat the challenges affecting mental health.
Here is more information.
As a gesture of our appreciation for your participation, a complimentary Soul Food lunch will be provided to all attendees. ...
