Bussing will be provided for the program from Mead & Prendergast to the farm. If your child does not attend Mead or Prendergast you can drop them off at Massaro around 3:30 pm.

Allow your child to experience the spring season on nearby Massaro Community Farm, located on the line of Woodbridge and Ansonia. Formerly a dairy operation, the farm has grown vegetables and produced flowers, eggs, and honey for the past 15 years. 

This after-school program allows children to visit the farm each Wednesday afternoon to play and explore on the farm.  They will perform garden chores, care for the chickens, explore the Nature Trail, do crafts, and learn basic woodland survival skills. The program encourages children to embrace outdoor activities.  Mixed ages resemble sibling feel for this small group educational series.

The six sessions will take place on Thursdays, Sept. 26 - Oct 31, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
