Join us for our first annual Carolina Movement Statewide Prayer Walk! Churches from all across North Carolina will be hitting the streets at the same time to plead with God to bring lost sons and daughters in our community and state back home. Prayer, God’s word and walking all have benefits on their own for your health, but when we put them all together we have an amazing tool, given by God, to help us grow closer to him.  What Is Prayer Walking?A prayer walk is basically walking and praying to God at the same time asking God to move in a specific area. During our time together, we will be prayer walking as a group, however as you experience the presence and power of God today through your time of prayer walking, we encourage you to continue to prayer walk on your own.  You could walk on a walking trail or even on the treadmill and pray for anything or anyone (even yourself).   Prepare for Prayer Walking <ul><li>Prepare your heart. Consider fasting for a meal, a day, or a week before your walk.</li><li>Show up a few minutes early.  Rushing doesn’t lend itself well to a prayerful heart.  </li><li>Ask God to guide, direct, lead and impress upon you things he wants you to pray.  </li><li>Ask God to let you see through His eyes and pray His agenda for people.</li></ul>Tips for Prayer Walking <ul><li>Keep your eyes open and be observant. </li><li>Invite the presence of God to be made known wherever you walk.</li><li>Pray aloud as much as possible.
