TRL CA is excited to welcome producer, writer, and star of Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars, Harvey Hubbell, as he shares his film and leads a discussion with the audience. Hopeville tells both the story of three diverse elementary schools that are addressing major reading achievement issues by adopting a structured literacy approach and Harvey's personal struggle with dyslexia and learning to read. It's a movie certain to uplift, inspire, and spur action and we're thrilled to bring it to our CA chapter!
