2024 Color Run Participant

The 4th Annual Color Run returns this year on Sunday, October 27th.   Participation is free and is open to any and every Colonie Resident past and present.  Medals to the winners and ribbons to all who participate.  Race length is determined by grade level and are as follows.   Boys race before girls for each grade level PreK-1st Grade-- .25 mile   10:00am2nd-4th Grade-.37 mile       10:15am5th-6th Grade-.50 mile        10:30am7th-8th Grade-.75 mile        10:45am9th grade and above- 1.0 mile     11:00am This year we are having a HALLOWEEN COSTUME THEME.      We will be having a costume parade and Halloween Costume Contest as well.    While participation is free, we are encouraging participants and attendees to either bring non-perishable food items to race day, or make a monetary donation, which will be given to Capital Church Food Pantry.  Capital Church is located on Vly Road and services families in the Colonie district and surrounding areas.  There is an option to make an additional donation to Colonie Track and Field, any money donated will go to the Food Pantry instead. Day of Registration and Packet Pickup will be 8:30am and end at 9:30am sharp, so that we can have the costume parade on the track in front of the home stands at 9:30. Races begin promptly at 10am with boys racing. If participants do not want to wear a costume, we encourage them to wear their elementary school colors.
