Texas Through Time is a 501c3 Nonprofit paleontology museum with free admission that serves a socioeconomically disadvantaged community in Hillsboro, Texas.

  Our mission is to bring together a comprehensive collection of Texas fossils for the purpose of engaging and educating the general public. Through meaningful educational experiences we hope to stimulate appreciation for Texas’ unique fossil record. Texas Through Time was founded in April of 2018 to bring our rural community of less than 10,000 people an opportunity to learn and pursue science and the field of paleontology, aka, "the gateway science". Our mission is to engage people of all ages and to share our passion for learning about Texas’ unique fossil record and offer many free or inexpensive educational events throughout the year.

 We will be holding our upcoming "80's Prom" Gala in which proceeds are used to continue to improve our educational exhibits, activities, building renovation, operational expenses for the year, and events that serve our local community and visitors.

  Texas Through Time's 80's Prom Gala will be held May 18, 2024, at the HILCO Event Venue in Itasca, TX.

From 6-9pm we will have silent auctions, a guest raffle, professional photos of each guest in front of our sponsor backdrop, a presentation of accomplishments throughout the year, and a delicious catered meal. 80's prom themed attire appropriate.
