"What on Earth is a Bucket Raffle???"We're so glad you asked!This year, similar to a silent auction, our Bucket Raffle will involve donated prizes from Clerks, businesses, and other individuals from all across Alaska. However, unlike a silent auction, participants have a chance to win prizes for as little as $1! (Ok, ok. While a silent auction technically could have a winning bid of just $1, you know what we mean.)Note: This raffle is intended for those attending the AAMC Annual Conference, December 9-10, 2024. Read further for details on physical or in-person aspects of participation in the Bucket Raffle.Picture tables lined with small buckets (or similar enclosed containers). Each bucket represents a different prize, which will be displayed notated with a photo and/or description on the side of the container. Participants will purchase tickets and choose which bucket(s) to drop their tickets into; any quantity they choose. One bucket will be designated for a 50/50 (split-the-pot) prize, with each dropped ticket representing $1. Throw all your tickets into a single bucket and increase your odds for the prize that sparks your interest OR spread your tickets out across multiple buckets and have a chance to win more than one prize!Ticket Prices: $1 for 1 ticket. $5 for 6 tickets. $20 gets you 25 tickets.Basic physical, two-part numbered tickets will be used.
