Class Description:Being kind to our earth is everyone’s beeswax! In this workshop, you’ll learn to create a sustainable option for storing fresh bread and produce. Using the heat of your hands, beeswax seals against itself, making it an ideal reusable (and non-plastic!) option for storing food and packing lunch.  Workshop Highlights:*Understanding the process and why certain materials are needed*Melting beeswax*Coating the fabric *Any bread Q&amp;A you may have along the way! BYOB: Feel free to bring your favorite drink to enjoy during class.  Materials Provided:Materials are provided for in-class use. Age Requirements: This class is designed for students 8 years old and over. Any student under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. The chaperoning adult does not have to pay for class if they are not participating.  About the Instructor:Shana Barley is a thirty-something year old dog groomer from Chattanooga; she has been baking sourdough since the end of the pandemic and exploring all of the possibilities in the world of fermentation.
