This is the single word that God has repeatedly laid on our heart, for almost a year now, in regard to our 2024 event. We have been studying scripture, writings, and songs all around this one word. We truly feel that God has already orchestrated the most perfect evening for us. We ask that you save the date, order your tickets, and make preparations to join us on October 5, 2024, at Crosspoint City Church, Cartersville Campus at 5pm.  We invite the community to join Footprints on the Heart for a night of food, fellowship, reflection and remembrance. We look forward to seeing you on this special night as we come together to honor and remember precious babies who are longed for, or whose lives were much too brief. We have tried to include all information about this annual event and any additional information will be relayed to registered attendees via email as the event date approaches. All ticket sales are final, and all proceeds will be used to further the ministry efforts of Footprints on the Heart. Should you be unable to attend and wish to gift your tickets to someone else please make sure to contact us (so that seating charts can be adjusted). If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us at info@footprintsontheheart.org or 770-547-4333.  Candlelighting Information: The event will begin at 5pm with a boxed sandwich meal being served. We will all light our candles together as we listen to special song selections and our guest speakers. The evening is typically by 8pm (sometimes even sooner) but varies depending on the number of guests attending and lighting candles. Ticket Sales:Ticket sales will close at 8am on September 8, 2024, with a few extra seats being reserved for families that we might be called to serve from that date until event night. Guests aged 10 and older $20, Guests under 10 are Free. There will be an optional spot to add a contribution to keep the Zeffy Platform free for nonprofits. You can select your amount from the drop-down box or choose no contribution.  Seating: Tables will seat between 8-10 guests (final determination will be made soon). If you wish to sit with specific attendees, please reach out to us at <a href="mailto:info@footprintsontheheart.org">info@footprintsontheheart.org</a> or 770-547-4333.  Dress Code: Casual dress. Speakers/Singers: Our additional guest speakers are being finalized and will be posted here as they are available. Meshea Hurston Ingram, Founder of Love Can Build a Briggs Charitable FundAs a mother who has experienced the loss of a child herself, Meshea Hurston Ingram has turned her personal tragedy into a blessing for others. After losing her 2-year-old son, Briggs, in an unfortunate drowning accident, in July of 2022, she began a charity in his honor to both prevent the same occurrence from happening to other families, and to provide support to families who have also suffered the unimaginable loss of a child. God has used Meshea and her family's story to minister to others in a way only one who has lived through such a tragedy could. We are honored to have her as a speaker at this year’s event.  James Griffin, Lead Pastor, Crosspoint City ChurchJames Griffin is the Lead Pastor of Crosspoint City Church. He holds a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and his greatest passion is seeing the Great Commission fulfilled. James serves as a church planting network leader in Metro Atlanta with NewThing and Engage Churches. He also serves as the President of Engage West Africa, a non-profit committed to getting the gospel to unreached people groups in Burkina Faso and Guinea. When he’s not serving the church, you can find James spending time with his family, doing CrossFit, fishing, or watching Atlanta sports. He and his wife, Amber, have three beautiful daughters, Rowan, Selah, and Arden. We are so blessed to have Pastor James with us this year. You will take your candle back home with you at the end of the evening. Absolutely NO open flame candles (such as taper candles) will be allowed. Candles must be in a glass/metal/ceramic/etc. container that prevents the dripping of wax on table linens. If you have any questions about your candle selection do not hesitate to reach out to us. Please try to refrain from bringing scented candles. We will also have a selection of votive candles available.  The Meal Selection: We have tried to keep the registration as low as possible for this annual event and once again kids under 10 will be free. Event meal catered by: Chicken Salad Chick (Cartersville). Sandwich boxed meal-selections are on a first come, first served basis. ALL boxed meals will come with at least one side item, chips, pickle spear and a signature cookie as well as a choice of bottled water or canned soda.<ul><li>Classic Carol Chicken Salad (all white meat, shredded chicken, finely minced celery, mayonnaise, &amp; our secret seasoning) served on a croissant with fresh lettuce.</li><li>Fancy Nancy Chicken Salad (dress it up with Fuji apples, seedless grapes, &amp; pecans) served on a croissant with fresh lettuce</li><li>Sassy Scotty Chicken Salad (a zesty blend of ranch, bacon, &amp; shredded cheddar cheese) served on a croissant with fresh lettuce</li><li>Signature Turkey Club (oven roasted turkey breast, crispy bacon, provolone, fresh lettuce, &amp; sliced tomato, honey mustard and mayonnaise on the side) served on a croissant.</li></ul>We would like to extend very special thanks to Crosspoint City Church for generously allowing us to use their beautiful sanctuary for this event.
