ACCESS Method Coach Training,&nbsp;developed by OptiSync, LLC, equips experienced CRPs and professionals to implement a neuro-affirming system of support solutions, &nbsp;by developing skills and knowledge to support parents, schools, and support teams of nonspeaking students with whole-body apraxia. &nbsp;This method pairs multi-modal text-based communication strategies with &quot;bottom-up&quot; regulation supports grounded in applied neuroscience and unique rhythm-based practice. 🎵 The ACCESS Coach Training is intended for experienced CRPs and professionals who are well-versed in whole-body apraxia and have helped individuals develop skills to support open, spelled communication. Continuing education certificates will be available. Currently, music therapists and occupational therapists are eligible for pre-approved credits. This comprehensive and accessible training program innovates to bring a comprehensive, flexible solution for communication and regulation challenges experienced by many nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking students - even those on a path to spelled or text-based communication. ACCESS Method focuses on equipping natural supports and building confidence among support teams for meaningful daily engagement. Together, we&rsquo;ll focus on practical tools that respect and support each communicator&rsquo;s autonomy, sensory profile, and internal rhythm.&nbsp; Weekly sessions will be taught by Casey DePriest, MT-BC, NMT, and Eric Lund, MT-BC, NMT, with nearly 40 years of combined experience supporting nonspeaking individuals. Participants will earn badges for successful completion of modules within each of these 4 Pillar trainings:ACCESS Communication (12 weeks) [June - Sept 2026]ACCESS Regulation (12 weeks) [Sept - November 2026]ACCESS Dignity/Respect (8 weeks) [January - March 2027]ACCESS Education/Engagement (8 weeks) [March - May 2027] ACCESS Coaches (in training) will participate in weekly Foundations sessions, AND will also complete assigned readings, write reflections, record and analyse practice videos, develop an eye for &quot;what&#39;s working and what&#39;s not&quot;, and will practice required competencies specific to the ACCESS Method. &nbsp;After the 4 Pillar trainings, our Coach Cohort will complete a mastery test and skills competencies to be eligible for ACCESS Coach Certification.
