This year, we will again hold our meeting at the beautiful and historic El Convento Hotel in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.  This by-invitation-only meeting of leaders in the Community Development Venture Capital industry offers an opportunity to interact with and learn from each other, share experiences, discuss co-investment opportunities, and, most of all, build professional and personal relationships that continue and grow throughout the year. We are excited that the Peer Group has grown over the past years and is more inclusive and reflective of strong emerging managers within the mission-driven VC ecosystem.  Peer Group  Meeting Agenda:The Peer Group meeting has a simple but valuable format and is entirely member-led. At the beginning of the meeting, we will spend about an hour as a group building the agenda for the rest of the meeting. Topics have ranged from the practical, such as methods to generate deal flow and investment terms, to bigger picture themes, such as ways to position the industry for future growth, engaging new LPs, and investing in minority and other underinvested communities. We are fortunate to have John Weiser of the consulting firm BWB Solutions as our facilitator again this year. In addition to the facilitated sessions, we will structure ample time for socializing and getting to know one another.  We ask those participants who wish to do so to bring a problem or an issue with which they are currently grappling and which they would like to share with the group.
