We welcome all skill levels in this 4 week long wheel throwing class for adults! Enjoy our warm and inviting Clay Studio at our BRAND NEW State Street location in Downtown Alton.  Learn how to throw clay on an electric potter's wheel with Master Potter Chris Carson. You'll learn the entire process from wedging to shaping to glazing from the ground up with plenty of time allotted for instruction and independent practice of technique.  Already have experience in pottery? Adult wheel throwing is a mixed level class and students may take this class as many times as needed to develop skills and gain proficiency. All levels are welcome to come and enjoy this oldest of art forms. Continue working on new technique and processes or rediscover your love of throwing!

Class takes place every Tuesday from 6-9pm for four week sessions. Wear clothing you don't mind getting muddy and bring a small hand towel if you'd like. Your e-ticket is for your records only, you do not need to bring it with you to class.
