This reservation is for a primitive campsite in the Brown County State Park Rally Group Campground. It entitles you to a "camping unit," which refers to a single family group or household setup. Usually, this means one primary sleeping structure (like a family tent, popup, or small camper) or a vehicle used by that specific family.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • No Shower Access: The official regulations explicitly note that Rally / Group sites do not include access to the park's modern family campground shower facilities. The group areas utilize shared pit/vault toilets and nearby drinking water hydrants,
  • Vehicle Access: If you are bringing an RV or towing a trailer, you must use the West Gate Entrance off State Road 46. The historic covered bridge at the North Gate has a strict 9-foot height clearance and a 3-ton weight limit.
  • LEVEL GRASSY AREA WITH NO PADS OR ELECTRIC. AREA MEASURES 400' X 70'. 250 YARDS TO WATER, 30 YARDS TO VAULT TOILET, 500 YARDS TO PLAYGROUND.
  • For camping, check-in and check-out time is 2 pm, except Sundays and holidays when check-in and check-out time is 5 pm, local time.
