For the December event, we welcome Dr.&nbsp;D&rsquo;Arcy Meyer-Dombard, a professor in the Department of Earth &amp; Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago. She will be giving an exciting presentation entitled &quot;Extremophiles Reveal Secrets of Life on Earth and Pathways for Life of Other Planets.&quot; Prof. Meyer-Dombard is a foremost expert in microbiological habitats in &ldquo;extreme&rdquo; environments and thinks about Astrobiology and life in Early Earth environments, and how these relate to life on current Earth and the role that microorganisms might have. We look forward to meeting Prof. Meyer-Dombard and can&#39;t wait to see you there!!
