Field Day is an energetic day filled with outdoor games, sports, and team-building activities designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and school spirit. This is a favorite event of students, teachers and lots of parent volunteers that gets students active, engaged, and having fun! The Book fair is an engaging event allowing students and families to browse and purchase books at school. Donuts with Grown Up takes place in the fall at AES. It is a welcoming social event inviting students to bring parents, guardians, or other special adults to school for a morning of donuts, coffee, and quality time. It fosters school-family relationships and community building. The Zoo Assembly is an interactive educational assembly where students meet and learn about animals from Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. This exciting presentation enhances students' understanding of wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation. Trunk or Treat is a fun-filled night where students come to AES to Trunk-or- Treat. AES Staff and Families decorate the Trunks to make it a great night kids will remember! Conference meals are provided for teachers and staff during parent-teacher conferences as a gesture of appreciation and support. Teachers really look forward to and appreciate this on those long twelve hour days! Conferences occur over two evenings in the fall and two evenings in the spring, so there are four conference meal sponsorship opportunities available in total. Each sponsor will be the sole sponsor for one evening. Conference Sponsors will be displayed on all signage throughout the entirety of the Conference Meal Dinner as well as social media shout outs for spoiling our staff!
