From early days with dBX (the ‘B’ is for Blackmer) through tech work for Electric Lady Studios, The Cars, and Boston (the band), to designing world class recording studios, Michael Blackmer has always been as creative as he is technically proficient. In this unique presentation Michael will share prototype audio and musical equipment with names like the Germainiator, Peaqualizer, Photonic Mic Limiter, and Ovary-Z. The evening will feature demonstrations, views inside the circuitry, and schematics made available to the audio community.
Refreshments and snacks served. RSVP required to attend.
Parking Information:
In addition to on street parking in Medford, guests may park on campus in the lots highlighted below in yellow. Parking is $2.50 per hour, and can be paid at the kiosk in each lot by credit card. You do not need to print anything or put anything in your vehicle. We recommend paying for more parking than you think you will need, to avoid a ticket.
