Merritt Island Wildlife Association and Playalinda Brewery are teaming up to clean up Areas 10 and 11 of Black Point Wildlife Drive, as well as the horseshoe crab spawning beach on West Gator Creek Road. Gather your friends and get ready to make a difference. We will be wielding grabbers like eco-champions, conquering litter so it doesn't become troublesome for the wildlife who call the Refuge home. But wait, there's more! After a successful clean-up mission, we will gather at Playalinda Brewery Hardware Store location to quench our thirsts with some refreshing craft brews (beers and rootbeer) and enjoy a delicious lunch. Refill a Growler or purchase one to go to be entered in our special sustainability raffle drawing. It's the perfect way to get to know the tap room team, celebrate giving back to nature, and converse with fellow nature enthusiasts. Are you ready to grab some trash and down some growlers? Register today for Grabbers for Growlers and let's make a positive community impact, one piece of litter at a time! Itinerary:0900 – Meet at the restroom area on Black Point Wildlife Drive (approx. 3.5 miles from the entrance). Supplies, including gloves, buckets, grabbers, and trash bags will be handed out.  0915 – Proceed to Adopt An Area 10-11 for trash pickup.  1015 – Depart Black Point Wildlife Drive and head to West Gator Creek Road (park at the entrance near the kiosk).
