What does it mean to be an Ally?How important are Allies in our Community?How can you be the best Ally possible? Our Ally workshops will give you the information and tools to learn the answers to these questions, as well as provide you all of the basics on what the LGBTQ+ Community entails: Pronouns, Gender Identity, Queer History, where we are headed as a Country, and so much more. &nbsp;The workshop consists of interactive discussions, activities, and plenty of resources.&nbsp; These workshops are ideal for businesses, organizations, and schools that would like to obtain the tools and better understanding for how to be there for members of the LGBTQ+ Community, how to properly provide support (both active and passive), and even what to avoid (common misconceptions as to what is &quot;helpful&quot;). These workshops will expose you to very sensitive, and sometimes harsh, material that might be difficult to hear at times. This is to allow you to walk in the shoes of someone else so that you can get a better understanding.&nbsp; All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, stickers and other freebies, as well as a free t-shirt.
