Inkwell Beach has been the heart of Black summer on Martha's Vineyard for generations. This is where we begin.

IceWell returns, and we are bringing the Brotherhood back to these sands in full black and gold. This is the kickoff to Alpha Week. All day, open, and easy. Bring your chair, your cooler, your family, and your letters.  Come meet Brothers from across the country, reconnect with the ones you came up with, and plant your flag for the week ahead.

Alpha Day of Service

August 16, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The Trinity Park Tabernacle

80 Trinity Park, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557

We gather to give honor where it is due. The Trinity Park Tabernacle is one of the most beautiful and historic worship spaces on the island, an open-air sanctuary that has held generations of the faithful.

On Sunday morning, the Brotherhood will worship together as one.  Bring your family. Bring your spirit. Come dressed to represent. We will be present as men of Alpha Phi Alpha, grounded in faith and fellowship.

We are asking Brothers to wear our Alpha on Martha's Vineyard Lapel Pin. You could purchase your pin here: The Alpha on Martha's Vineyard Online Store

This is a public service open to all. Come early so we can find seats together.

Brunch With The Bruhs
Free

August 16, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Honorary Tavern

14 Towanticut Ave, Oak Bluff, MA

After we worship, we break bread. Brunch with the Bruhs is exactly what it sounds like. Good food, good drinks, and the kind of unhurried fellowship that only happens when Brothers and their families come together around a table.

This is a relaxed, family-friendly gathering right after Sunday service, close to the Tabernacle so nobody has to run across the island. Bring your spouse, bring your kids, and settle in.

Space may be limited, so register so we can plan accordingly.

We start together at the Ocean Park Bandstand and reconvene at the end to celebrate the work.

Whether you are training for a marathon or just trying to keep up with the grand kids, come move with your Brothers as the island wakes up.  7:00 AM starts. Bring water and good energy.
