H. 'She's a Dancer'
$40

Starting bid

'She's a Dancer' is a Chick Wasitis introduction registered in 2011. It is the stable form of a streaked seedling. Parentage is unknown, but it is likely from a cross of an unnamed streaked seedling and kikutii yakusimensis. The picture shows a mature clump growing in Barbara Tiffany's garden. The 4-year old container grown plant was registered as 15" tall and 24" wide, but from this picture it appears that it eventually gets as tall as it is wide because of the downward curl of the leaf.

NEW at Green Hill Farm!!! Small. This is the first of Doug Beilsteins’s “Sparkling” series of hostas hybridized for flowers. There will be more to come in the next few years. While the plain green foliage of this small hosta is easy to ignore early in the season, its flowers on their very straight scapes demand attention. They are described as being “white with flecks of red on base and tips of the exterior, inside reveals three main red lines along entire length of each petal and occasional small lateral flecks of color.” They are an August delight! Donated by Bob Solberg for spring shipment.
