Have you ever felt the raw power of a voice that can shake the room? Sotto Voce — Buffalo’s bold new opera company — is bringing scenes from Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana (Rustic Chivalry) out of the concert hall and into a casual, intimate bar setting. Our founder and core team discovered opera through rock and roll, and we believe the two genres share the same fire: passion, intensity, and storytelling that hits you straight in the gut. This one‑night preview of Sotto Voce's upcoming mainstage production is the perfect chance for music lovers who are curious (or even skeptical) about opera to test drive the experience in a relaxed, affordable atmosphere. Grab a drink, sit back, and let world‑class singers unleash their voices just a few feet away. The music will soar in its original Italian, with English narration guiding you through a tale of passion, betrayal, heartbreak, and vengeance. Don’t miss it — reserve your spot, support emerging talent, and immerse yourself in a night of music that will leave you breathless. VENUE INFORMATION Tickets will also be available at the door for $15 on the night, cash and Venmo only (no credit cards). 21+ only. Doors open at 6pm. Seating will be available.
