Ancient Paths 2027: Recovering Rest is a gathering centered on Jeremiah 6:16: &ldquo;Ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.&rdquo; In a noisy, hurried age, this weekend calls us to return to the ancient Christian practices of prayer, stillness, attentiveness, Scripture, worship, and communion with God. &nbsp;We are making space to recover the wisdom of the historic faith and rediscover the life of prayer that has formed generations of faithful followers of Jesus. Join Jareb Nott, Jason Armstrong, and Chance Owen for a weekend of teaching, worship, guided prayer, conversation, breakout sessions, and fellowship in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Together, we will explore the ancient paths of the Christian faith, cultivating a deeper attentiveness to the presence of God that forms us into the likeness of Christ and prepares us to live faithfully in His mission.The gathering begins Friday evening and continues through Saturday with morning and evening sessions, extended time for prayer and reflection, a lunch break, breakout discussion, and fellowship. The weekend concludes with Sunday morning worship. Children &amp; Childcare Childcare will not be provided during Ancient Paths 2027. However, children are welcome to attend the sessions with their families. We value children being present in the life of the Church and believe they benefit greatly from worshiping, listening, learning, and experiencing these practices alongside the wider church family.
