APRIL ANIMATION JAM

                       

On every last Saturday of each month in 2025, we invite the public and individuals interested in stop-motion and the animation process to attend our Animation Jams. Each month a different professional animator will be on site at MOSMA HQ working on a short piece of animation and we want to invite you to meet the animators, other stop-motion industry professionals, ask questions, network, and potentially take a few frames of animation!

                       

Join us as we explore ideas, materials, discuss and focus on all things stop-motion animation!

                       

THIS MONTH’S GUEST ANIMATOR: JAVAN IVEY

                       

Javan Ivey is a stop-motion animator and rigger, known for his ability to solve creative puzzles in the animation process. Mentored by director and animator PES in his early career, his experience ranges from commercials and television through short and long form film productions. A graduate of Pratt Institute, he has over 15 years of experience in the stop-motion industry.
