**Tax deductible receipts are sent for all raffle purchases and donations.**  The Shadid family raffle fundraiser (managed by Zara-17, Zander-15, Zoe-13) is supporting Brazil-4-Life in their 25 year effort to turn 1,200 pregnant women in crisis into happy mothers of children using 54 pregnancy centers and 3000 volunteers.   We want to raise awareness and if you can participate we invite you to buy tickets."When a mother can visualize her baby by seeing or hearing its heartbeat, she is more likely to keep it." <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/hxn9dbuhd/image/upload/v1753299512/wysiwyg/pyjivef91jakvkzco46y.png" style="width:207px;display:block;vertical-align:top;margin:5px auto;text-align:center;position:relative;cursor:pointer;padding:0px 1px;user-select:none;box-sizing:inherit;max-width:100%" />Here are the tangible ways this RAFFLE FUNDRAISER is used with moms before their baby is born.1) Fetal Model ($15): Our counselors use fetal models identical in feel, details &amp; weight to put in the mom’s hand as they consider keeping their baby.2) Ultrasound ($25): Through a partnership with a chain of imaging clinics, most women who see an ultrasound of their baby decide that they are ready for motherhood.3) Doppler Fetal Monitor ($50): Pregnant moms can hear their baby’s heartbeat during initial counseling without visiting a clinic or medical facility. 4) Welcome Basket ($75): Once the baby is born, we give the mom a “Welcome Basket.” The nearest Pregnancy Center and the local church deliver these baskets.5) FOOD for 4 persons and 1 month ($150): One of the most consistent requests from mothers who choose life for their babies is food. This is called a Cesta básica (which contains rice, beans, sugar, salt, flour, oil, corn meal, and other staples). We work with our local church partners to deliver these “Cesta básica,” supplemented with fresh produce and additional groceries. 6) DIAPERS-home machine (11cents ea): The second most requested resource is diapers. We can make diapers for a much lower cost than buying them from stores in Brazil. One of the promises Brazil-4-Life makes when helping a mom decide to keep her baby is that they will come along- side her and help provide resources for her and her baby when needed. Their pregnancy centers have baby clothes, formula, powdered milk, diapers, toys, bedding, strollers, and various baby-related supplies. They offer parenting classes, adult and kid Bibles, Bible studies, mentoring, and various parenting work-shops. They also have volunteer attorneys and professional counselors who help with legal and mental health advice. With your raffle participation help, we can continue providing mothers and their babies with these basic needs after birth. Our goal is to raise $15,000 in order to bring these tangible resources to mothers who are saying "Yes!" to life for their baby. You can be a part of this mission by participating in this raffle.
