Which is why The Link: Sports Exchange Foundation strives to provide deserving student athletes the opportunity to participate in sports with confidence, comfort, and dignity. For many young women, properly fitted sports bras are a financial burden as they are not provided such essential equipment needed for young athletes to participate in any sport. With your support we can change that. This campaign&#39;s sole goal is to raise $10,000 to produce 1,000 sports bras and distribute two to each, to 500 recipients in need of the support to continue their participation as student athletes. Why Sports Bras? A sports bra isn&#39;t just athletic apparel. For a young woman participating in sports, it can provide essential comfort, support, confidence, and freedom of movement. By age 14, 1 in 5 girls drop out of sports due to their lack of funding to purchase sports bras. The Link Women&#39;s Sports Exchange is working hard to raise awareness to this harsh reality and make sure that a sports bra is no longer a financial barrier.
